Oracle of Place + Highland Witch

A group of us once spent a season with the book The Highland Witch by Susan Fletcher, and it took most of us by surprise — we were drawn deeper into the valleys and mountain ranges as Corrag, the small Highland woman connected to the legends and lore of Glencoe, Scotland, stepped off the page and touched us all deeply. I've continued walking that path, and the little deck I made to use during that first class has grown into a personal favorite.

This class treats Oracle of Place the way I'd teach Lenormand or Kipper — foundations, structure, card by card, spreads — but instead of a history section (since this is a modern deck I created), we'll be reading the inspiration, The Highland Witch, alongside the deck itself.

You'll need a copy of The Highland Witch by Susan Fletcher (also sometimes printed as Corrag) in whatever format you like — the audiobook narrator is wonderful.
